Oh, there's no place like home for the holidays!
Drove up to the house. Christmas decorations up and ready to go. Gave Mom a big hug - I came 2 days earlier than I said I would. I wanted to surprise her. She was happy to see me. Called my aunt and my sister to say hi the minute I came to town.
I love being home with my family.
Definitely needed the break from school! The first few days home, I pulled out a few textbooks for next semester and studied every spare second. I was still in "Study Mode" from finals. Then I realized - wait - it's a break! So I forced myself to put the books down and just rest, see family, hang out with friends. Since I've been going to school continuously since Organic Chemistry started in June, it's a welcome break.
