a day in the life

This summer has probably been the most hectic of all my summers in quite some time. I've been working 2 jobs and taking 2 classes (although one job is only 2 hours/week and one class is only 3 hours/week) and all my time seems to have been sucked away! i've barely seen my friends these past few months, but hey. at least im being productive right?
so i've decided to blog about my daily life for archiving purposes, so that i can remember what the heck i did during the summer of my eighteenth birthday...

On the my most busy days, i'll have to get up at around 7:30, get dressed, eat breakfast, then head out the door to work at plaza play. It's a job for the city, and I help facilitate games for little kids outside of the library. it's especially difficult since the age group i work with is 5 and under...meaning that the kids don't understand simple coordination games like tossing the ball or duck duck goose. So, I'm working that from 8:30-12:30, then at 1:00 I head to creekside park and facilitate "playgrounds" with the much older group of 7-12 year olds. this group is a lot more manageable and we have a lot more games to play since the kids are old enough to understand how to play them. after that's done, i bike straight to my summerschool around 5-6 miles away to my english class. the class is pretty awesome and i get to read a lot of interesting books and meet a lot of cool people (my classmates are all pretty unique people and i've enjoyed getting to know them). then, i bike back home and finally settle down at around 8:30. so for a good 12 hours, i'm out and about doing either work or school. On other days that I don't have to get up quite as early, I will go swimming either at my swim class at my community college or at the YMCA with my mom. On the days that I don't have school in the evening, I am sometimes tutoring the kids i used to babysit last year. so my monday-fridays tend to be pretty packed, but luckily i have my eveinings free up now that i'm no longer in summerschool (just finished my final yesterday.)
k thats all for now!
