I found this article, It's Time, on The Economist website (www.economist.com). I thought many of you might enjoy this. You have probably (hopefully) already made your decisions regarding which way you'll vote next week, but this is a good read nonetheless.
Taxation aside, what I've found particularly interesting (and disturbing) is that while a majority of economists are calling for more government spending, an expansionary policy, as a way to deal with the ensuing economic turmoil, Republican candidate John McCain keeps vehemently stressing his plan to "balance" the budget and cut government spending. Perhaps this is a major reason why The Economist has the inclination it does.
Anyway, enjoy the article, and remember to vote on Nov. 4th!
