Thanksgiving break is just around the corner! I hope you guys are going home for break. I just feel like Thanksgiving should be spent with your family.
I'm flying back on the Thursday morning...because I ordered my tickets a bit on the late side...oops. Anyways, instead of having a whole gigantic 20 pound turkey this year, my mom decided that we should each have our own Cornish hen. They look like miniature chickens. We're each going to season our own Cornish hen with whatever flavors we want. I'm still trying to decide whether to go for an Asian taste (ginger, scallions, hint of sesame oil) or an herby lemon with root vegetables.
I think my mom said she bought some cornbread mix from Marie Callender's. Their cornbread is amazing, especially with their honey butter. Their pies are amazing, too. Knowing my stepdad, we're probably going to have at least two pies: french apple and pumpkin, maybe? I've never tried their pumpkin pie, but their french apple is to die for.
After dinner, I think my sister planned for us to watch the movie Sting with Robert Redford. I haven't seen it yet, but my sister says it's amazing. She says it's like an older version of Oceans Eleven.
Anyways, even though you should relax over Thanksgiving break, remember that finals are only two weeks after. I'm hoping I won't get too lazy and actually get some studying done over break.
By the way, don't forget about your Telebears Phase II appointment! They should be coming up pretty soon.
with you hope in your new study. how long did you leave your home? -- Alisa firstname.lastname@example.org
