Christmas Tree Sale

The Forestry Club will be selling Christmas Trees this next week! From Sunday, 12/7, to Friday, 12/12, we'll be selling trees on the south side of Mulford Hall. The sale will be from 9-5 every day. We'll be selling white firs and Douglas-firs at $6 a foot. We'll also be selling handmade wreathes and Forestry Club merchandise.

The trees are donated to us by Sierra Pacific Industries, the largest private timberland owner in California. SPI is always very gracious in providing us these trees free of charge. Members of the Forestry Club will cut down these trees by hand, and bring them down in a big U-Haul. It's always a fun and exciting event, and one of our biggest fundraisers of the year.

This is part of the reason why I enjoy being in the Forestry Club. As the Vice President this year, I was responsible for organizing the whole cut. It's been a bit stressful, but very exciting!

So come out! Even if you don't want to buy a tree, just take a look around!
