It's the Final Countdown!

I've been busy... and that's an understatement. Graduation is in just over two weeks and I have yet to find a job. My days currently consist of finishing up class projects, studying for finals, working, and looking for employment. A friend posted this song as her theme for the week, and I feel that this song expresses many of the sentiments I'm experiencing.

Enjoy!

The lyrics are oddly fitting... Check them out.

The Final Countdown lyrics
Songwriters: Tempest, Joey;

We're leaving together
But still it's farewell
And maybe we'll come back
To earth, who can tell?
I guess there is no one to blame
We're leaving ground
Will things ever be the same again?

It's the final countdown
The final countdown

Ohh
We're heading for Venus and still we stand tall
'Cause maybe they've seen us and welcome us all, yea
With so many light years to go and things to be found
(To be found)
I'm sure that we'll all miss her so

It's the final countdown
The final countdown
The final countdown
(The final countdown)
Ohh ho ohh

The final countdown, oh ho
It's the final countdown
The final countdown
The final countdown
(The final countdown)

Ohh
It's the final countdown
We're leaving together
The final countdown
We'll all miss her so
It's the final countdown
(The final countdown)
Ohh, it's the final countdown
Yea

I'm really going to miss Berkeley. I had a moment where I realized that "Holy Cow! I have a future!" It may seem odd to have this kind of realization smack you right in the face, but after going to school and attending classes for the vast majority of my life, the idea of it all being done with is just too weird.

Bring it on, World! Here I come!
