Call for CNR Citation Nominations

Dear CNR Community Members,

As the Chair for the CNR Citation Committee, I am writing to ask for your help in finding a worthy candidate to be the recipient of the 2005 College of Natural Resources Citation. We are excited because this award gives us the opportunity to recognize the people who support and encourage the great work that we do at CNR.

There are no restrictions on who can receive the award. Faculty (current and emeritus), Board members, friends, alumni, staff, donors, community members, and organizations are all eligible for consideration. Nominations that were submitted last year (but not awarded) will be considered along with current nominations.

Nominations should include written documentation and a rationale for the nomination, including the nominee's accomplishments and contributions to the College. A formal letter of recommendation is not required.

The CNR Citation Award winner will be honored at a reception in the spring tentatively scheduled for May 5, 2005.

Please submit written or e-mail nominations by March 17, 2005.

Please send your nomination in a sealed envelope to:

or email it to:

For more information about the award, email mailto:ncnrcitation@nature.berkeley.edu.
