Reception for New CNR Students

All newly admitted College of Natural Resources (CNR) students and their families are invited to attend a special Cal Day reception at the CNR Student Resource Center to meet and socialize with other admitted students, current students, faculty, and staff.
Prospective Transfer Student Mixer

Fall 2008 transfer applicants are invited to the CNR Student Resource Center to meet current CNR transfer students and advisors. This is a great networking opportunity and a chance to learn more about the college!

Meet representatives from one of CNR's most popular student groups, the Cal Forestry Club! Learn about the club's many activities and take home a free seedling to plant in your own backyard.
Bug Doctor Booth & Live Insect and Spider Displays
9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wellman Hall -- 2nd floor and outside lawn
The Bug Doctor Booth will be open and ready for business. The public is invited to bring live and not so live insects to the Bug Doctor for identification. Children who correctly identify their bugs win a small prize! So start your guessing early. Other activities include live termites, examples of termite damage, microscope viewing of samples, and handouts.
Participants for the Bug Doctor Booth and related activities include Vernard, Robin, Sara, Lynette, Gail, and Shawn; all members of the Lewis lab and Structural Pest Center.
The Campus Tree Trail (Self-Guided Tour)

Blue and Gold Make Green: Ride the CNR Green Taxi!
9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Pick up points at Campanile and West Circle
Need some help getting to the CNR events? Hitch a ride on the Green Taxi! Our Hybrid car will be giving visitors free lifts between the Campanile and West Circle near Mulford Hall. Made possible by partnership with CNR and City Car Share.
The Science and Economics of Carbon Sequestration: The Climate Change Question
