Pre-Law KHOP Program

The King Hall Outreach Program at UC Davis assists pre-law undergraduates with academic performance and preparation for law school!

KHOP is a two year commitment that includes a mandatory four-week residential stay at UC Davis during summers prior to junior and senior years.

Eligibility:
*First-generation college student or economically disadvantaged
*Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
*Have at least 2 years before college graduation

The King Hall Outreach Program is designed to assist pre-law undergraduates with academic performance and preparation for law school!

We are now accepting applications for the 2008 King Hall Outreach Program.


To be eligible for KHOP, students must:

- Be a first-generation college student OR be considered economically disadvantaged

- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

- Have at least two years before college graduation


Students who are transferring to a 4-year college/university from a community college are encouraged to apply!


KHOP is a two year commitment that includes a mandatory four-week residential stay at UC Davis during the summers prior to your junior and senior years.


At no cost to the participant, KHOP participants attend and/or receive:

- Courses in writing, logical reasoning and LSAT preparation

- Workshops on pre-law preparation and law school admission

- Presentations by law school professors or attorneys

- Mentoring by current UC Davis law students

- Individual pre-law advising including their own pre-law action plan

- Possible scholarship assistance for an LSAT prep course

KHOP Summer Session 2008 will run from July 12 through August 9, 2008.
