The International Rivers South Asia Program is looking for an intern to help with the new program focus on dam building in the Himalayas. The intern would support the research on new trends in hydropower development in Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bhutan. The internship would ideally start on August 4, 2008 and last until September 30, 2008. The intern would work, full-time or part-time, from International Rivers's head office in Berkeley, California.

We are looking for an individual with strong research skills, knowledge about water issues in South Asia as well as possibly some knowledge about hydropower development.
