LEED Volume Certification Student Coordinator Needed
Physical Plant-Campus Services is looking for an undergraduate or graduate student with knowledge of the LEED certification process to head the Campus Volume Certification for Existing Buildings. The LEED Coordinator position will report to the Associate Director of Sustainability and Engineering Services, and will be responsible for determining steps required for Campus Existing Building Volume Certification, document the necessary credits, and coordinate the documentation process with involved departments on Campus. The coordinator will be compensated with a $2,000 stipend for leading project to completion paid in monthly installments. To apply, email a resume to shirazi@berkeley.edu.

UCSF Women’s Health Undergraduate Research Internship for Summer 2010
The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences in partnership with Kaiser Northern CA is offering a summer research program in women's health based at UCSF for the summer of 2010. This program is ten weeks in length, and includes a research project, clinical shadowing at UCSF and Kaiser Oakland/Richmond, and weekly seminars in women's health/field trips to clinics in SF. If you are interested in learning more about this program, come to an information session on Monday, November 9, 2009 from 6:30 to 7:30 at 2063 VLSB where the Co-Directors (Juan Guerra MD, Patricia Robertson MD) and students who participated in the program last summer will be talking about the program.
