We are looking for a student to do a volunteer research and writing project on the topic of cleaning up the water in the Ganges River or on a topic of their choosing relating to any natural sacred place. The written report/article will be considered for publication in our 12-page newsletter which is currently in the UC Ethnic Studies Library, Harvard Theological Library and St. Lawrence University Library. If accepted for publication, the article will be included in our next newsletter, the Fall-Winter issue.
Requirements: A letter of interest and brief description of your background along with a complete writing sample (this can be a class paper). Work can be done on an independent basis with period in-person meetings in North Berkeley with co-founders & intern supervisors, Leonard and Nancy Becker.
