Global Water Brigades is a student-lead international non-profit working in Honduras to increase access to clean water in rural communities. GWB offers students to make a difference in the international community by traveling to Honduras for 1 week to work on a water sanitation project. Past brigaders have instituted infrastructure, by building dams and laying pipes, and taught educational programs about water sanitation to local schoolchildren. This winter's trip will take place on January 11-17, 2010. Additional information about past trips and the application can be viewed online at http://gwberkeley.wordpress.com. Please email haejin@globalbrigades.org with any questions or completed applications by Wednesday, October 28th.
