Get the practical training you need for a career in natural resources. Help restore West Stege Marsh for the endangered California Clapper Rail and other wildlife species!
Students Will:
- Learn Basic Plant ID Skills
- Learn Techniques for Seed Collecting and Processing
- Help Propagate Native Plants for Marsh Restoration
- Gain Practical Experience in Revegetation Techniques
- Learn Best Practices for Managing Invasive Plant Species
- Study Marsh and Grassland Ecology
The program runs Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 9:30-3:30. Interns earn 1 credit for 3 hours of work per week.
