1. Pew Hispanic Center 2010 Summer Internship Opportunity
The Pew Hispanic Center is accepting applications to fill a summer internship position. Details about the internship and the application process can be found here: http://pewhispanic.org/about/careers/

2. Paid Internships with the SF Municipal Transportation Agency
Our Traffic Engineering Summer Internship Program is a great way to get experience in transportation planning and engineering while still in college. Plus, the pay is the best I know of for internships - $23/hourand up, I think. 1 South Van Ness (@ Market) is the office location - it's very central to transit! Anyone interested can apply on line through this link: http://www.sfstudentintern.org. The deadline for applications is February 17.

3. TGIF Now Accepting Applications for 2010!
Every year The Green Initiative Fund (TGIF) grants $250,000 to campus projects which address sustainability, and we are now accepting applications for the 2010 grant cycle! Applicants are now REQUIRED to submit a project abstract to the committee prior to submitting an application – visit http://tgif.berkeley.edu to download the guidelines for submission. All students, staff, or faculty can apply, deadlines for abstract submission are January 19th and February 15th. Questions? Contact Nicole Leung, TGIF Coordinator, atnicole.leung@berkeley.edu / 510.643.2992. Or join our email list to get messages in your inbox about deadlines and events to meet current and past grantees!
