I. Honors Research Deadline Extension
The Honors research deadline is EXTENDED to Friday, 9/10.
CNR students who have attained junior status, who have a 3.6 GPA and have two semesters remaining to complete a two semester honors research project are eligible to undertake CNR Honors Research. Students they must submit their H196 Enrollment form to major advisors by*Friday, 9/10, 5:00 PM* . Students must have their faculty research mentor's signature, and a copy of their 300 word research proposal (title, abstract, background, objectives and hypothesis, methods, timeline).

A reminder, junior transfers must complete at least one semester at UCB and eligibility is only based up UCB GPA.

Some students are doing research with a research mentor outside CNR. They must get their research mentor's signature and also they must have a CNR faculty sponsor who will be responsible for their grade.

All honors students must be on campus for their two semesters of research (no EAP, no summer).

All honors student must present their research at the end of their second semester at the CNR Undergraduate Honors Symposium.

Interested in the biological sciences but not sure which major is for you? Come and meet representatives from over 10 different biology majors and related student resource departments who will be available to answer your questions.
