I. CACS is hosting a Coffee Hour
The Chancellor's Advisory Committee on Sustainability is hosting a coffee hour to help celebrate the new composting program of the College of Environmental Design (CED) and Ramona's cafe. Snacks and refreshments will be served, and there will be informational tables representing CED, Cal Dining, Berkeley Student Food Collective, and GAIA. Please join us tomorrow, September 28 at 11:00 AM in the Wurster Hall Courtyard, for this fun and celebratory CACS event.

- Provides portable solar electric power for municipal hospitals in developing countries in order to reduce maternal mortality rates and improve hospital conditions
- Over the past year the organization has provided solar electric power to over 9 developing countries worldwide
- At the event Hal Aronson, Co-Founder of We Care Solar, will be showing off the portable solar suitcase that is able to power hospital operating rooms, blood bank refrigerators, and two way radio communication.

Joint open house hosted by University of California at Santa Barbara's Donald Bren School of Environmental Science & Management, Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment, the University of Michigan's School of Natural Resources and Environment and Yale University's School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. This is your opportunity learn about graduate opportunities in the environmental field from the Nation's top environmental schools. Each school will make a brief presentation and will be available to answer all of your questions throughout the gathering.

Learn How to Earn an MPA in Environmental Science and Policy at Columbia University.

The Master of Public Administration Program in Environmental Science and Policy is a twelve-month program that combines Columbia University’s hands-on approach to teaching public policy and administration with pioneering thinking about the environment, educating today’s environmental leaders for a more sustainable tomorrow.
