All Cal students invited! Mingle with entrepreneurial classmates at the UC Berkeley Business Plan Competition (Bplan) & Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC) mixer. Discuss your business ideas, learn about current projects, expand your entrepreneurial network and meet potential teammates for the competitions. Calling all entrepreneurs! Enter your business plan in the 13th Annual UC Berkeley Business Plan Competition to win up to $30,000 in prize money! We invite all Cal students, alumni and faculty to join students from the Haas School of Business and Berkeley’s finest engineering talent at our upcoming mixer on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 focused on the web and technology. III. BERC and BEACN - The Undergraduate Energy and Resources Career Expo
Calling all energy and resources students, if you are unsure about what you are doing this summer and want to find out more about different opportunities from industry professionals across the energy and environmental field come to our Career Expo! We will be showcasing 15+ Professionals who have taken the time to talk to you about your interests in getting jobs and internship in the energy and resources space.

IV. 2011 PLAYgreen Festival
The 2011 PLAYgreen Festival, recognized as the largest eco-experiential college lifestyle festival in the nation will be held on Friday February 25, 2011 at Pauley Ball room. Over 10,000 Cal students and campus supporters are projected to touch, taste and experience the latest products, services, fashions, technology, services, sounds, cuisine and career opportunities from the very best local and national eco-friendly companies. Admission to the event is once again Free!

As a recognized green Cal student group, the standard exhibitor fee of $300 will be waived! Space is limited and we’ll except completed registration forms on a first-come-first-served basis. This is an amazing opportunity to connect with the community and spread your mission to advance our knowledge and understanding of natural resource systems in order to develop innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges.

Collaborate
We are looking for fun, creative and eco-minded entrepreneurs to help plan, market and deliver the event. Our team’s creativity, energy and enthusiasm will have no boundaries. V. Marine Technology Professional Society
Interested in joining a Marine Technology Professional Society. This will be a means for students to come together and discuss the interdisciplinary studies that encompass marine science and it's relevant technology. This professional society is open for both undergraduates and graduates. This year,we intend to start the society and prepare students for professional andacademic careers by the following: relevant speaker presentations, job shadowing, research opportunities, funding opportunities, scholarships, publishing literature, conferences, and networking with other professionals. VI. Berkeley Student Food Collective Store Opening and Gala
The Berkeley Student Food Collective is a student organization on campus dedicated to bringing healthy, sustainable food to the UC Berkeley campus and community. Their new storefront is located on 2440 Bancroft Ave (right across from Eshleman), and our Grand Opening is this Monday, November 15th. They will have store tours, samples, workshops, and all sorts of fun stuff going on all day! If you have a larger interest in food sustainability or food politics, business management, education, or anything and everything in between, you should get involved! The Second Annual Harvest Gala which will take place 6-9 pm on November 20th. It will be held inside of the beautiful David Brower Center. The night will start off with a silent auction (including tickets to the San Francisco Ballet, a gift certificate from Chez Panisse for 2, and much more!), with live music and an open bar. At around 7:15 everyone will start moving upstairs for a delicious vegan harvest feast. There will be speakers on food sustainability, performances, music, a whole bunch of spirit and lots of fun! Tickets are online at bsfcgala2010.eventbright.com on a sliding scale from $50-250 for the entire night and $25-100 for half night. It is a really great cause!
