I. Mildred Jordan Sharp Leadership and Service Scholarship $200-$2500
For over 40 years, the Mildred Jordan Sharp Scholarship has honored the leadership and service of Cal women. The 2011 MJS Selection Committee is seeking applications from junior women who have demonstrated leadership, service, academics, and personal development in pursuit of a specific future goal or career. Successful applicants will be passionate, driven, committed leaders who can articulately discuss the impact of their service thus far and their vision for the future impacts of their work. II. Farm Bureau Scholarship (San Diego County)
The Farmer Bureau of San Diego County is accepting applications to its 2011 scholarship program. The primary criteria for an SDCFB scholarship include academic achievement, career goals and a commitment to study agriculture. Secondary criteria include extracurricular activities, financial need and written expression. Applications must include transcripts as well as recommendations from a teacher and a current or former employer or community service organization. Applicants must be permanent residents of San Diego County and entering or attending a two- or four-year college or university. Applications and recommendation forms are available at the Farm Bureau office and on the Farm Bureau Web site at www.sdfarmbureau.org.

Eligibility requirements:
• Student is entering or attending a two year or four- year college or university
• Student is pursuing a course of study in agriculture or a closely related field
• Student has a permanent residence in San Diego County

III. Amador- El Dorado Forest Forum Scholarship
The Amador- El Dorado Forest Forum is accepting applications for the Edwin F. Lila and Lyle Smith Memorial Forestry Scholarship for forestry students in their junior or senior year of study. Applicants must have graduated from either an Amador or El Dorado County, California, high school to be considered. The award amount is variable. Past years it has ranged from $800.00 to $1,000.00.
