I. Kaibab National Forest - Position opening in Arizona
The Kaibab National Forest, located in northern Arizona, is seeking a motivated individual to fill a Student Career Experience Program (SCEP) position on the North Kaibab Ranger District, with a duty station of Fredonia, Arizona. The SCEP is intended to bring new employees into the Forest Service workforce while continuing their education. Students are provided training and paid work experience during their summer breaks, and upon graduation and successful completion of program requirements, students have the opportunity to be placed into permanent full-time positions within the Forest Service.

II. 1000 New Cyclists Internship
The East Bay Bicycle Coalition, EBBC has raised funds to hire a part-time paid intern for the 1000 New Cyclists campaign. Now they’re on the hunt for a terrific intern! The job is posted at: http://www.ebbc.org/?q=openings. They are looking for someone with the following skills:

· Terrific written & verbal communication skills
· Skilled at working with databases, social media, websites, etc.
· Well-organized and detail-oriented
· Willing to pitch in with new ideas and also comfortable taking direction
· Comfortable being part of something that is new & evolving

III. Environmental Health and Safety Summer Paid Internship
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced environment and assist in the development of Apple’s Environmental Health and Safety program. This position will help the Environmental Health and Safety Team with a variety of projects including Industrial Hygiene support, Environmental and Fire/Life Safety Compliance. We are looking for a creative, energetic individual with strong communication skills willing to take on a range of projects.

Job Responsibilities:
· Gathering data for Environmental Compliance
· Mapping projects for Battery Recycling program
· Electronic management of Environmental Sampling reports
· Assist with Lead Safety Project
· Industrial Hygiene support, testing, and sampling as needed

Required Experience:
· Enrolled in a BA or BS program in a relevant field, such as Environmental Studies, Occupational Health and Safety, or Public Health
· Strong interest in learning EHS functions
· Strong communication skills
· Proficient with using word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
· Ability to multitask
· Not afraid to ask questions or take on new projects

Competitive salary, depends upon education and experience. This is a summer program...which goes anywhere from May/June - August/September...we work around each school's semester/quarter system. We pay for relocation (unless they're local), a housing stipend, benefits and great product discounts. This is for students, so recent graduates will not be eligible.Location: Cupertino, CA.
