I. Tufts Medical School Presentation
Interested in medical school? Tufts Medical School is going to be to giving a presentation about the application process to medical school, specifically Tufts Medical School, which is in the top 50 medical schools in the nation! Dr. David Neumeyer, a Tufts Medical School admissions officer will be presenting and taking any questions you may have about medical school.

II. Career Center Pre-Med Survey
The Career Center is collecting data about the needs and expectations of UC Berkeley pre-med students. We're doing a survey and you will be getting information about that soon, but we'd also like to conduct a couple of focus groups to hear your thoughts in a more personal way.

Please RSVP if you're interested in participating in a focus group to share your opinions about the most important services and programs for pre-med students that could be offered by the Career Center. West Coast Pizza and beverages will be provided.

III. oSTEM Student Group
Join the newest Cal student organization: Out in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (oSTEM). oSTEM aims to unite the LGBTQQIA students within the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to foster a strong professional and social network as well as to promote awareness of their presence in all communities. If you are interested in being a part of oSTEM, there will be an Info Session on Tuesday, April 26 at 6:30 in 240 Bechtel. Food will also be provided. IV. Peer Health Exchange
Join Peer Health Exchange and give teenagers the knowledge and skills they need to make healthy decisions. College undergraduate volunteers will teach public high school students workshops about sexual health, relationships, substance abuse, and nutrition.

Peer Health Exchange volunteers will:
• Provide a much-needed service in their community.
• Develop valuable skills, including public speaking, teaching, and leadership skills.
• Expand their career opportunities.
• Learn useful health information.
• Be an integral part of the campus community.

V. Berkeley Entrepreneurs Forum: 13th Annual UC Berkeley Business Plan Competition Finals
Date: Thursday, April 28, 2011
Time: 6:00-9:00PM
Location: Andersen Auditorium- Haas School of Business

The UC Berkeley Business Plan Competition is the marquee entrepreneurship event at UC Berkeley, nurturing entrepreneurial action across the campus community. The Competition provides entrepreneurs with the best possible resources – including education, networking, team creation, mentorship and new venture financing – to help turn innovative ideas into real businesses.

The April 28th Berkeley Entrepreneurs Forum will showcase the finalists of the 2011 Competition and award prizes to the winners. Forum audience members will be invited to participate in the selection of the People's Choice Award and the Elevator Pitch Award, which carry a $5,000 and $1,000 prize respectively. Student Admission to the Forum is Free!

Student pre-registrations must be received by Tuesday, April 26th at 5pm by following the instructions below. All registrations after that time must be completed on site on the day of the event. VI. Integrative Biology Faculty Dinner
Dept. of Integrative Biology Students (DIBS) is having a Faculty Talk and Dinner with Professors Rasmus Nielson and Tom Carlson. Nielson will be speaking about mRNAs and its use to track evolution while Carlson will be speaking about ethnobiology, climate change, and health. This is a FREE event with FREE FOOD and open to ALL majors!
