Fall 2012 Tele-BEARS appointments are happening now! If you haven’t already, you will be hearing from your advisor very soon regarding available appointment times. All students registering for Fall 2012 classes will need to meet with his or her major advisor to obtain their Tele-BEARS code. Please DO NOT be late to your appointment and come with your Tele-BEARS form filled out
GRADUATING SENIORS—TODAY is the LAST DAY to REGISTER for COMMENCEMENT!

If you don't register, you WILL NOT receive four free tickets to the event and you WILL BE EXCLUDED from the printed program. Take a few minutes right now to complete the simple registration form.

Thinking about applying to graduate school? Join us as we hear from a panel of CNR undergraduate students who were recently accepted into a graduate program for Fall '12. They'll share their thoughts on what they did over the past few years to prepare, what the application process was like, and what they think made them a competitive applicant. Our panelists represent a variety of disciplines:
- Medical School (still deciding)
- PhD in Plant Biology (UC Berkeley)
- Master in Nature, Society, and Environmental Policy (Oxford)
- Master in Urban Planning (Harvard)
- Master in Environmental Management (Duke)

Apr. 13 | Join the Peer Advising Leadership (PAL) Program
Applications are due April 13, 2012.. Some benefits of the program include:
- Being a student leader and role model
- Develop valuable communication skills
- Advise your peers and recruit new students
- Introduce others to opportunities at CNR
- Plan and assist with CNR advising events
- Get one or two units of credit and more!

Apr. 13 | Sponsored Projects for Undergraduate Research (SPUR)
Students apply for Summer 2012 Faculty SPUR Projects 4/9 - 4/13
Each semester and during the summer, the CNR SPUR program allows CNR undergraduates to participate in research with CNR faculty. Students do not get paid, but they do have the opportunity to experience research beyond the classroom. SPUR funds are used by faculty to cover research expenses. The funds are generously provided by CNR alumni to encourage more students to participate in research.

Share your research with fellow students and faculty. If you are doing independent research, SPUR/URAP research, or Honors research, please consider creating a research poster and sharing your research.
