Interested in healthcare as a profession but wondering what other interesting, prestigious careers exist beyond being a physician?

Practicing Health Professionals and representatives from a variety of health professional schools will give information about the professions they represent, as well as discuss the preparation and application requirements for the different health fields.

Oct 4 | Homecoming Legacy Night 2012

Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Legacy Night is an evening of hors d'oeuvres, jazz music, and mingling between students and Cal alumni in the warm twilight glow of the Alumni House patio. There might even be some surprise musical performances! Alumni will share their cherished blue-and-gold memories with Cal’s top students to show them what being a lifelong Golden Bear is all about.

Substantial appetizers and beverages included. Dress for the evening will be business attire.

-Smoked salmon & cream cheese canapés (Bread generously donated by Semifreddi's)

Oct 4 | Global Health Disparities Research Training Program Fall Symposium & Info Session

Please join us for the Global Health Disparities Research Training Program
Fall Symposium and Information Session to be held Oct. 4th at the Alumni
House from 3-7pm.

The symposium will feature the recently returned 2012 Fellows who will
present their summer research work in India, China, Nicaragua, Kenya and
South Africa. We will also be providing information about the program and
the upcoming application process for next year's program. Students
interested in applying for next year are strongly encouraged to attend.

The Global Health Disparities Research Fellowship funds international
summer research for qualified Berkeley students. The program provides
training in infectious diseases and health disparity research, with a
focus on diseases that disproportionately affect people in developing
