Oct 15-19 | BERC Energy Symposium & Innovation Expo 2012

The BERC Energy Symposium is the premier energy event at UC Berkeley and the largest student-run energy conference on the West Coast. Key players from the research, business development, policy and economics communities converge on Berkeley’s campus to explore innovative ideas and provide a platform for vibrant discussion among hundreds of attendees.

The 2012 Symposium theme is Tensions in Energy: Aligning Innovation, Investment, and Policy.

The 2012 Energy Symposium is a two-day event includes:

prE-Symposium (Monday – Wednesday, Oct 15 – 17): an online launch of the Symposium before the on-campus event to provide Symposium attendees with valuable panel background information and to expand access for those who can’t attend the Energy Symposium.

Innovation Expo (Thursday 6-9pm, Oct 18th): a showcase of the latest energy and resources breakthroughs in the fields of science, engineering, policy, economics, and others presented by researchers at UC Berkeley, LBNL and from our colleagues across the U.S. and beyond.

Energy Symposium (Friday 8am-6pm, Oct 19th): featuring eight engaging and in-depth panel discussions, a fireside chat, and two keynote addresses followed by a post-conference reception.

October 19 | Idealist Graduate School Fair

Friday October 19th, 5:00 – 8:00pm, San Francisco County Fair Building

The Idealist Grad School Fair can help you make a difference in your career!

Oct 27 | Pre-Health Society Lunch with Health Professionals

Want to work in health but unsure what to do or what it means to be a practicing health professional? The Pre-Health Society is having a Lunch with Health Professionals on Saturday, *October 27th from 12 to 1pm in 179 Dwinelle*. Come and eat free delicious sandwiches with practicing health professionals such as a radiologist, a chiropractor, and an orthodontist. We will be having a casual Q&A session where you can learn ins, outs, pros, and cons of their profession.
