Summer 2013 | Environment Studies and Spanish courses in Peru - ECELA

Environmental Studies: Two week field study at Peru's Manu National Park, one of the most biologically diverse places on the planet. Information about the flora and fauna of Peru will be taught firsthand from peoples who live and work in the forest. Relevant Spanish terminology regarding forestry, sustainability, agriculture and biodiversity will also be covered at the Manu Learning Center.

Spanish Course: Four weeks of intensive Spanish language course taught at Ecela Cusco. This is equivalent to a semester and levels from Novice to Advanced are welcomed. Inquire about earning college credit.

Summer 2013 | Wildlands Studies Program

The Wildlands Studies Program, California State University, Monterey Bay offers a series of environmental and cultural ecology field studies that we invite you to join. This year you can choose among sixteen wildlife, wildland and cultural ecology field studies searching for solutions to environmental and cultural challenges. Each program grants 4-12 upperdivision units credit. Please note that all programs are open and accepting applications now. Field studies take place in wildland locations throughout the Montana Rockies, California, Alaska, Canada, Belize, Peru, Chile, India, Thailand, Nepal, Tasmania, Argentina, Australia, Costa Rica and New Zealand.
