Spring Break | Mindful Gardening Workshop, Hawai’i Institute of Pacific Agriculture

The Hawai’i Institute of Pacific Agriculture (HIP Ag) is an active farm and education center dedicated to ecologically, economically, and socially sustainable agriculture. Located on the North Kohala coast on the Big Island of Hawai’i, HIP Ag offers opportunities to immerse in the study of permaculture, agroforestry, and sustainable living. Courses and internships provide students with valuable skills to restore human and environmental health through hands-on field training, classroom sessions, site visits, and design studio.

Students engage in all aspects of farm and community living to gain an in-depth understanding of how to create and maintain sustainable systems. Areas of study include soil building, plant propagation, site design, animal husbandry, nutritious meal preparation, and more!
