Please consider joining us at the Environmental Town Hall this Monday in 109 Dwinelle! We will be creating UC Berkeley's first Environmental Advocacy Agenda in an effort to strengthen the collectiveness effectiveness of the environmental community at Cal. Help identify the tools, resources, policies, and solutions needed to develop YOUR vision on how to truly enhance sustainability at Cal. Snacks will be provided by the Berkeley Student Food Collective. Bring your own plate, utensils and cup in an effort to keep this event Zero Waste.

April 10 | Green Career Fair

Wednesday, April 10, 4pm - 7pm
David Brower Center, 2150 Allston Way (near the corner of Oxford and Allston)

The Career Center is pleased to present this career fair with the College of Natural Resources, Environmental Sciences Student Association (ESSA), and CNR Peer Advisors.

Open to all UC Berkeley students and current members of the Career Center's Alumni Advantage program. Bring your UC Berkeley SID (photo ID for alumni) and copies of your resume.

Participating employers are from private industry, government agencies and nonprofits and have job or internship opportunities related to environmental concerns including green tech/energy, sustainability, planning/land use, environmental health, natural resources and ecology issues.

Make a great first impression by preparing in advance!
1. See which companies are coming before the fair. Log into Callisto to review this year's Career Fair Directory. Directory information is updated up to the day of the fair - be sure to check frequently.
Hint - use the Advanced Search tab to search for participating companies by type of job or internship, majors and degree levels sought, etc...

April 11 | 6th Annual Student Affairs Day

You are invited to attend the 6th Annual Student Affairs Day on April 11th from 5-7 pm in the Unit 1 All-Purpose Room. The event is cosponsored by the Office of Student Development and Office of the Dean of Students. The event features Student Affairs practitioners from various campus departments, who will share their experiences in Student Affairs. There will be refreshments, a keynote by the Associate Dean of Students David Surratt, as well as breakout sessions with the staff in attendance. The panel will feature Sunshine Workman from the Cal Corp Public Service Center, Cici Ambrosio from the Gender Equity Resource Center, and James Carrol from the Office of Student Development. We look forward to seeing you there!

Friday, April 12th: 12:00-1:30pm
Location: Career Center Blue & Gold Room (2440 Bancroft Way, 3rd floor)

Description:
Calling all students interested in serving the Environment!
What is a "green" career all about, and what options exist in the Environmental sector? Come learn about green job and internship opportunities and hear success stories from 5 professionals who've landed "Dream Green jobs"!
