DeCal: Challenging the Concept of Sustainability: An Active Anthropology

"Challenging the Concept of Sustainability: An Active Anthropology" is a decal intended to problematize energy choices and the notion of sustainability. The class is tailored around Professor Laura Nader's Anthropology of Energy, Culture, and Society course, but it is open to and applicable to all majors and topics related to energy, the environment, and current events. The primary work-load will be to complete a short 10 minute documentary on a topic of your choosing, which makes this decal a productive venue for starting or continuing work on a visual project.

The class is held on Tuesdays at 4-6pm in 121 Wheeler. The CCN is 02914 for Anthro 198. Please email Alana Sheldon at alana_sheldon@berkeley.edu if you have any questions. We would love to see you there!
