First Few Weeks of Clases!
I really like my schedule this year because it leaves room for me to participate in many extracurricular activities that I wanted to participate in since previous semesters! First three days of school was hectic because I had trouble deciding whether I should keep my medical endocrinology class or enroll in another course that I am wait-listed in. But now my schedule is set and finalized. Because of budget cuts, many courses are cancel this year :(. Hence, it is important to check in with your major advisor to discuss about your schedules now and for upcoming semesters. My advice is: if you cannot get into a particular course, consider substituting it in with another. An alternative option is to do summer session, which I did participated in this past summer. It is definitely fast paced but I personally thought that I learned a lot more while taking summer courses than during the regular semester. Courses offered over the summer are generally smaller in sizes (hence better in quality) and you get to meet and interact with other students and professors on a regular basis. So, don't hesitate to enroll in summer session if you are considering on it, especially during this budget crisis, you need to make sure that all major/minor requirements are satisfied. Always check in with CNR faculty/staff and us PALs if you have any questions. We are here to assist!!
