Science Through an Antique Lens

The exhibit “A World Examined: Microscopes from the Age of Enlightenment to the 20th Century,” now on display at San Francisco International Airport (SFO), features a selection of antique microscopes from UC Berkeley’s Golub Collection. The full collection, donated by Orville Golub, Ph.D. microbiology ’44, is housed in the Valley Life Sciences Building and curated by CNR’s Biological Imaging Facility manager Steve Ruzin, who guest-curated the SFO exhibit. Open through June 30.
