Liz received her B.S. in Biology at Harvard in June of 1997. During the summer of 1994, Liz first worked in the Bruns Lab. Liz added a lot of color to the lab; perhaps her greatest legacy was her famous jello, which made its appearance at the Bruns lab's semi-annual picnic in July '94 at Limantour beach. Liz returned to the Bruns lab in July of 1997 to purse a Ph.D. in Plant Biology. Liz passed her Ph.D. qualifying exam in March 1999 and in October 1999, Liz decided to take a break from grad school and to focus her energies on her true love, ballroom dancing.
