Breastfeeding Educational Materials in Vietnamese Language

This resources was developed by the Cooperative Extension, University of California Berkeley as breastfeeding education pamphlets to be given to pregnant Vietnamese women in Sata Clara county, CA. Myths associated with breastfeeding and problems seen during breastfeeding, as well as factors that might deter Vietnamese women from breastfeeding, were concluded to be the major issues to be addressed in the materials.

The project was funded by the Department of Health Services, WIC program in Sacramento, CA, The materials include a series of six tear-off sheet: Breastfeeding! Best for You, Your Baby & Family; The Qualities of Breastmilk; How to Breastfeed; Breastmilk: Expression and Storage; Taking Care of Sore Nipples and Breast Engorgement; and What to Eat When You Are Breastfeeding
