OBJECTIVES
This one day workshop is designed to present current
approaches and tools to develop effective planning strategies for hardwood
rangeland habitat. California’s hardwood rangelands are undergoing
tremendous pressures from land use changes. Effective planning is an important
element in the maintenance of sustainable habitats. The material presented
at this workshop is designed to form the basis for an update to the UC
publication, “A Planners Guidelines for Hardwood Rangelands.”
