The UC Berkeley Forestry Program is 100!
Alumni and friends of the College of Natural Resources at UC Berkeley are celebrating throughout the year, culminating with The Centennial Party at Berkeley’s historic Faculty Club on Friday, September 19, 2014.
This milestone in Berkeley’s history recognizes the impact that our forestry program has had on all aspects of the field in California and beyond. Our graduates are forestry’s thought-leaders and doers. Alumni, community, government, and industry support is critical to the next 100 years at Berkeley.
Attending Berkeley’s incomparable Forestry Camp near Meadow Valley, CA, has become a seminal experience in the lives of our graduates. That's why we're using the occasion of the Centennial to make sure Forestry Summer Camp remains a mainstay of Berkeley’s forestry education by raising $600,000 for the Schwabacher Forestry Fund. Keeping camp affordable to all of our students, in perpetuity, even as costs for the program continue to increase, is our primary goal.
Please support Cal Forestry by giving to the Schwabacher Forestry Fund.
