2007 Annual Christmas Tree Sale

During the first weekend of December the Forestry Club set out to cut Christmas Trees near Blodgett Forest. Thanks to Zak Thomas and Angie Lee efforts in organizing this year’s cut enabled 26 Forestry Club Members to come up and cut over 300 trees in just a few hours. Zak who has become a veteran when it comes to driving the U-Hauls was able to avoid getting stuck this year. Fortunately the weather had been very dry up until the first week of December allowing us to cut at higher elevation and selecting the favorite red fir trees. The Forestry Club is thankful to Sierra Pacific Industries for their support in the cut and for donating the trees again this year.
