Grading.
Grades will be based on the cumulative performance on 6 lab assignments handed in to meet the deadline, which is 12:00 noon on day indicated in Course Outline (late assignments will not be graded without prior permission for an extension) Each assignment covers 2-3 weeks of material, involves the production of text, equations and figures and should be emailed to the instructor as a PDF file. Each assignment will receive a score from 1-4 (1:very good-excellent, 2:satisfactory-good, 3: poor or deficient, 4:no assignment-unacceptable effort level) and grades will be assigned according the following cumulative scores: A+:6-7, A:8-9, A-:10-11; B+:12-13, B:14-16, C:17-18, Fail>18.
