Cell Phone as Information Tool

Taking advantage of a cell phone's ubiquity and portability, the InfoLab is developing a cell phone application that will allow consumers to retrieve health, environmental, social, and other information about a product at the point of purchase.

Using this tool, we will examine how having such information affects consumers' shopping behavior and their decision making process.
