My primary research interest is to understand how local and regional agro-ecological landscapes influence plant and pollinator communities, their gene flow processes, and their ability to provide ecosystem services.  Broadly, this research program covers topics in landscape genetics, pollination ecology, native bee community ecology, and foraging ecology.  By integrating ecological research with molecular evolution analyses and GIS tools, this work aims to reveal how best to manage urban and agricultural landscapes in order to support robust native pollinator and seed-disperser communities, conserve key dispersal processes for native plants, and to provide valuable ecosystems services to agricultural communities.
