I am an undergraduate Environmental Science major at UC Berkeley, and my main areas of interest are wildlife and ecosystem ecology. I recently did an independent research project with Dr. Reginald Barrett on the golden eagle behavior pattern using camera traps, and am currently working on data analysis for this project. Furthermore, during this past semester, I took an ecosystem ecology course taught by Dr. Whendee Silver, which sparked my interest in ecosystem science. Later, I joined the Silver lab in May of 2011 as an undergraduate assistant, and learned various analytical methods from a number of interesting projects. Overall, my experiences in the lab have deepened my interests in the chemical and biological processes in the ecosystem. I will graduate from UC Berkeley in spring 2012, and am planning to apply for graduate school in the field of environmental management.
