Each major has a different method of dealing with substitutions. Before you take any action, you should consult with your undergraduate staff advisor.
Conservation and Resource Studies
- Fill out the ESPM Curriculum Substitution Form.
- The Form must be approved by the undergraduate staff advisor, your Faculty Advisor and the head faculty advisor.
- Each student is allowed a maximum of 2 substitutions.
If you are substituting an AOI course, you must also fill out an
AOI Update form and have your faculty advisor approve of the new course.
Environmental Economics and Policy
- Substitutions are rarely granted for EEP students.
- To request a substitution, see the undergraduate staff advisor.
- Substitutions must be approved by the Department Chair.
Environmental Sciences
- Complete the Environmental Sciences Substitution/Waiver Petition and turn into ES major advisor. The request will be reviewed by the Major Advisor and the ES Co-Director.
Forestry and Natural Resources
- Fill out the ESPM Curriculum Substitution Form.
- The Form must be approved by the undergraduate staff advisor, your Faculty Advisor and the head faculty advisor.
- Each student is allowed a maximum of 2 substitutions.
Molecular Environmental Biology
- Fill out the ESPM Curriculum Substitution Form.
- The Form must be approved by both the undergraduate staff advisor and your Faculty Advisor.
- Each student is allowed only 2 substitutions.
Society and Environment
- Fill out the ESPM Curriculum Substitution Form.
- The Form must be approved by both the undergraduate staff advisor and your Faculty Advisor.
