How can I contribute?

A frequent question I get is, "Do you have a sample job newspaper announcement, written test, practical test, oral test (i.e., interview questions), etc." I will be making a collection of such samples into a database for those who want some ideas of what others have done. I am also going to be collecting other forms and data such as incentive pay programs and forms that may be of use to farm employers.

Sharing a practical test (i.e., job sample) is no problem, of course, as this is something people either know or do not know (e.g., saddle and ride a horse, milk a cow, weld a pipe, sort almonds, prune a grapevine, etc.).

Sharing written as well as oral test questions (interview questions) for jobs is more sensitive. If someone can see the test before taking it, it can destroy its utility and validity.

Rather than asking everyone to start from scratch each time, however, which is what I have been doing so far, I am requesting that farm employers and others who want to contribute, send me one or two questions out of their tests. I will assume that it is Okay for me to publish your name along with your contribution, unless you tell me otherwise.

I have come across some pretty clever questions, announcements, and practical tests during the years, and hope to be able to put a good collection of these on the Web, for farm employers to be able to utilize and get ideas. This may also be a good tool for job applicants, to see how they can become better prepared for job interviews and for new job challenges.

I also plan to begin collecting scripts from performance appraisal, discipline, and conflict management interviews and sessions, as these may be instructive, also. These will be anonymous unless you request otherwise.

I will take the liberty to make annotations and include suggestions, as well as changes that will make for a more effective tool. I will try to be somewhat selective as to what gets published.

So, what am I looking for right now?
