Note here the larger shrub in the back with the smaller flowers in the front. Salvia ‘Indigo Spires’ is in the back with the dark purple flowers, to its right with the light purple flowers is catnip (Nepeta faassenii), to the left are low growing Santa Barbara Daisies (Erigeron karvinskianus), to their left are tickseed (Coreopsis grandiflora) just starting to flower, and behind them is a patch of milkweed (Asclepias curassavica).
