Distinguishing characters

Oligophlebodes mostbento is recognized by the following composite of characters:

Wings: Forewings unpatterned.

Male genitalia: Lateral lobe of inferior appendage elongate and sinuate, directed dorsad distally. X external branch generally rounded in shape.

Similar species: Oligophlebodes mostbento appears similar to O. ruthae in respect to the shape of the lateral lobes of the inferior appendage of O. mostbento sinuate and directed dorsad distally, but straight and directed posterad or ventrad distally in O. ruthae.

Distribution

Oligophlebodes mostbento has a small distribution inferred from few records. The range is constrained to the northernmost range of Oligophlebodes with records from Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, and Alberta.
