Paul Rogé -- Resilience of Rainfed Agriculture to Climatic Variability

Introduction

I am a PhD candidate at UC Berkeley in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management (ESPM), Division of Organisms and the Environment. My dissertation committee is composed of Professors Miguel Altieri (ESPM, chair), Ignacio Chapela (ESPM), Nathan Sayre (Geography), and Marta Astier (Environmental Geography, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México).

This website is dedicated to my dissertation research, which explores the dynamics of peasant farming systems under climatic variability, as well as strategies for enhancing their resilience to extreme climatic events. My intention is to make my research and related information broadly available to the public in a timely fashion via this website. I invite those interested in related topics to contact me.
