Welcome to the research website of Shalene Jha. Currently, I am a UC
President’s Postdoctoral Fellow in the
Dept. of
Environmental Science, Policy & Management at
UC Berkeley,
working with
Claire Kremen.
Broadly, my research interests include landscape genetics,
pollination ecology, native bee community ecology, and foraging
ecology. More specifically, I am interested in examining how local
and regional agro-ecological landscapes influence gene flow,
foraging patterns, and population viability for native bees and the
plants they pollinate. I am investigating a number of these topics
within agro-ecological landscapes in California and Mexico.
You can find my CV
here.
