I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Berkeley Natural History Museums and Department of Environmental Science, Policy & Management at the University of California-Berkeley.
My areas of research interest include the evolution, systematics, ecology, and conservation of microbes, with an emphasis on plant-associated (mycorrhizal, endophytic, and pathogenic) fungi. Please see the About, Research, and Publications pages to learn more about my work.
Many of my research projects are united by the theme of addressing questions that are relevant to the conservation of fungal diversity. The Conservation page presents an overview of major tools and resources for fungal conservation; it is still a work in progress, so mostly reads as a list of links -- it will take a more comprehensive form in the near future.
The Portfolio page is currently under development; when completed, it will contain data, photos, and the like.
The Links page contains links to resources mostly pertinent to mycology, but pertaining to my other academic interests as well.
