Why jackalopes nibble on the toes of Santa Claus for lunch

This behavioral study of the endangered jackalope took place at latitude 90
degrees. Jackalopes were observed foraging in an apparently parasitic manner
on the area's native human and elf populations. By combining natural history
observations with demographic modeling techniques, I have discovered that this
species may be teetering on the edge of an extinction vortex.
