DirectionsThe Symposium will be held at International House (I-House), located at the east end of the UC Berkeley campus, at the corner of Piedmont Avenue and Bancroft Way:
Map & Directions from Google Maps ParkingThere is limited street parking in Berkeley and much of it is metered or permit-only. There are numerous lots off of Channing Way, Durant Avenue, and Bancroft Way, all of which are a convenient and short walk to I-House. See UC-Berkeley Parking and Transportation's visitor's page for more details. Public TransportationThe Berkeley BART station is just 1-1/2 blocks from the Berkeley campus. It is another 10 minute walk along Bancroft Way to International House.
AC Transit AC Transit bus service provides transportation for commuters to and from San Francisco and throughout Alameda and Western Contra Costa County. There are several AC bus lines that come near the campus area: 65, 52, 51, 43, 40, 15, 9, F and U. See AC Transit's maps and schedules page for more details. AccomodationsIf you would like to attend the Bay Area Conservation Biology Symposium and stay the night but would rather save the cost of a hotel, we may be able to match you with a host who has a couch or extra bed where you can stay the night free of charge.
