The American Geophysical Union (AGU) has announced its 2015 class of Fellows, and Todd has been elected. This honor is given to individual AGU members who have made exceptional scientific contributions and attained acknowledged eminence in the fields of Earth and space sciences. Since the establishment of the AGU Fellows program in 1962, and in accordance with AGU bylaws, no more than 0.1 percent of the total membership of AGU is recognized annually.

September 2014 – Dario Ravaioli visiting the Dawson lab from University of Bologna, Italy
Dario Ravaioli (Forestry, University of Bologna, Italy) is visiting the lab for two months during the Fall of 2014.
His research focuses on long-term variation of water use efficiency in Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) from the Vallombrosa Forest in Italy. His visit at UC Berkeley will focus on quantifying the effects of rising atmospheric [CO2] on tree growth using Carbon and Oxygen stable isotopes analyses.
April 2013 – Grazielle Sales Teodoro spends four months in the lab
Grazielle Sales Teodoro, a graduate student from the Department of Biologia Vegetal, UNICAMP, Brazil, is visiting the lab. She will stay until July 2013.
