Keeping Active is a Choice !

We have many conveniences in our modern world which make it difficult for us to be active. Many desk jobs keep us sitting most of the day. In addition, the conveniences of cars, escalators, elevators make it all too easy not to walk to places. During our leisure time, we’re in front of a TV or on the internet. All these pose a challenge for us get out and be active.

Being physically active doesn’t mean having to go to the gym or getting on a treadmill. Being active should be a part of our lifestyle. The benefits of physical activity and eating a healthy diet go a long way in preventing many chronic diseases.
